Padoa secures €80 million to improve occupational health
Created five years ago, French startup Padoa is a software publisher specialized in occupational health. Padoa’s platform connects healthcare professionals, employers, and employees, and facilitates the management of occupational health services (notifications to attend consultations, individual follow-up of employees, occupational risk prevention, etc.).
The €80 million should enable it to continue its growth in the French market.
Holivia bags €2 million for employee wellbeing
Established in 2021, Holivia offers a customized support solution to prevent mental illness, the second most common reason for long-term work absences. The startup has secured €2 million from 50 Partners, American fund Acadian Ventures which specializes in HR Tech, and a group of business angels including Kevin Polizzi (Unitel), Mickaël Cabrol (EASYRECRUE), Marc Batty (Dataiku), and Marc Sabatier (Julhiet Sterwen). It has also received substantial support from the BPI.
VeinSound announces the closure of its seed-funding round
VeinSound is a French startup developing an innovative device for treating varicose veins using focused ultrasound technology. Mid-February, it completed its seed-funding round, having raised a total of €660,000. It will use the funds to carry out the pre-clinical trials needed to submit a clinical trial application.
VeinSound plans to open its capital to series A investors during the first half of 2022 to finance its clinical trial.
