Founded in Marseille in 2018 by Dr. David Bensoussan and Émilie Mercadal, ROFIM has become a key player in hospital telemedicine. In September 2025, the company announced a €10 million funding round to accelerate its growth in France and across Europe.
This round was supported by existing investors such as Banque des Territoires, Orange Ventures Impact, and Région Sud Investissement, and welcomed new partners CAAP Création and Buena Vista Capital.
A platform designed for healthcare professionals
ROFIM offers a comprehensive solution including tele-expertise, teleconsultation, e-RCP, secure messaging, and medical imaging sharing. It is currently used by over 70,000 healthcare professionals in 1,700 institutions, including all 32 French university hospitals.
The platform enhances care coordination, especially in overseas territories and underserved medical areas.
European and international ambitions
Already active in 12 countries, ROFIM aims to expand rapidly into Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom. The company also plans to explore Asian and Middle Eastern markets by 2026.
