Archeon Medical has announced the opening of a new subsidiary to further extend the international reach of its real-time feedback device for manual ventilation, offering a personalised approach to patient care that is now firmly established in the United States.
Since 2018, this innovation has been revolutionising cardiopulmonary resuscitation by redefining airway management standards through accurate and synchronous measurements of delivered tidal volume. Already exported to more than 17 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and North America, this approach is transforming emergency care on a global scale.
By 2024, the North American market alone will account for 60% of the company’s total sales. To strengthen its presence in this strategic market, Archeon Medical has opened a new subsidiary, marking a decisive step in its international expansion.
Transforming emergency care in the United States with precise, personalised manual ventilation
Following its success in the United States, the company, which is a French Healthcare Association member has decided to establish a local presence in this key market, which is essential to its growth. Its technology has redefined manual ventilation by offering a more effective and personalised solution for patients, setting a new standard in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
’The United States is a strategic market for Archeon Medical. We are committed to accelerating the adoption of our innovative solutions and further improving patient care,’ said Valentine Oqda, head of US operations at Archeon Medical.
Several major players in the US medical sector are already using this technology, which was approved by the FDA in 2023, including Johns Hopkins EMS Services (Howard County), Palo Alto Fire Department, Stanford Children’s Hospital (Palo Alto, CA) and Rush University Hospital (IL).
With a stronger local presence, Archeon Medical is consolidating its position as a leader in innovative ventilation solutions. This commitment also extends to educational initiatives such as the Manual Ventilation Academy led by Bob Page and the Difficult Airway Course, which enhance the skills of healthcare professionals and optimise patient outcomes.
A vision of sustainable innovation that can be exported worldwide
Since its creation, Archeon Medical has been committed to innovating to meet the needs of healthcare professionals. In November 2024, the company won the i-Nov innovation competition to develop an improved version of its technology and increase its annual production capacity. In addition, a version adapted for children in cardiac arrest is currently being developed, filling a need that has not yet been met.
This ambition is also illustrated by its presence in markets such as the United Arab Emirates, where its technology has been well received for improving emergency care. With solid foundations in Europe and strong growth in North America, Archeon Medical continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions for medical emergencies.
