Avatar Medical, a spin-off from the Institut Pasteur and the Institut Curie and a member of the French Healthcare Association, recently obtained CE marking for its innovative ‘Avatar Medical Vision’ medical imaging solution, paving the way for the internationalisation of its expertise in advanced 3D visualisation technologie.
This European certification marks a key stage in the democratisation of access to advanced immersive medical imaging, strengthening Avatar Medical‘s position internationally.
The American hospital of Paris, also a French Healthcare association member, will be the first European establishment to deploy this technology. The solution will be used to enable breast cancer patients to view medical images of their condition and even treatment options in 3D.
