Through the participation of two of its employees in the 2026 Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles, EDM Imaging demonstrates the ability of French healthcare organisations to spearhead initiatives with a significant societal impact, both in France and internationally, in line with the values of the French Healthcare ecosystem.

The IMAGIN’Elles crew (no. 126) from EDM Imaging, comprising Caroline Guirchoux and Béatrice Evrard, takes part once again in the Rallye des Gazelles in 2026, from 27 March to 11 April. Beyond the sporting challenge, this commitment is part of a structured solidarity initiative, in partnership with the charity Vivre Comme Avant, dedicated to supporting women affected by breast cancer. Beyond the sporting challenge, this initiative forms part of a structured solidarity programme, in partnership with the charity Vivre Comme Avant, which is dedicated to supporting women affected by breast cancer.

The Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles is an all-female event in which participants navigate without GPS, relying instead on a map, a compass and a roadbook, reflecting the key challenges of humanitarian medical work: decision-making in extreme conditions, stress management, solidarity, a sense of direction and analytical skills. It is therefore based on a unique concept that emphasises rigour, resilience and collective intelligence. These are all skills that reflect the demands of the healthcare sector.

Furthermore, this event led to the establishment of the Cœur de Gazelles charity, which works to support local communities by operating a mobile medical unit that travels throughout the Rally to provide healthcare to isolated communities.

A sporting adventure in Morocco, promoting women’s health

As the rally’s exclusive sponsor, EDM Imaging is organising charity campaigns and sales from 27 March onwards, with all proceeds going to Vivre Comme Avant. The company is also covering the crew’s entire budget and entry fees to ensure that all funds are donated to the charity.

The teams at EDM Imaging will also compile a list of equipment and consumables to be donated or funded, and identify the logistical and material requirements associated with humanitarian efforts in Morocco.

An approach that demonstrates a commitment to social responsibility and a model of practical engagement, particularly as the rally is the first in the world to have obtained international environmental and CSR certification.

With nearly 60,000 new cases of breast cancer diagnosed each year in France, this sponsorship by EDM Imaging and the involvement of its staff represent a tangible commitment by the private sector to public health, particularly in relation to prevention, support and the patient journey.

A commitment aligned with the priorities of the French healthcare ecosystem

Through their involvement, the staff at EDM Imaging are also sending out a powerful message: that of a committed ecosystem, where healthcare professions – including those in support roles – play a full part in ensuring high-quality care and patient support.

Their sporting and charitable initiative thus serves as a catalyst for raising awareness and mobilising support, increasing the visibility of issues relating to women’s health and demonstrating the ability of French organisations to combine sporting excellence, commitment and social impact.
