XIMED is a deeptech startup revolutionizing breast cancer diagnostics through advanced X-ray phase-contrast imaging. Born from cutting-edge research and a patented technology developed at ALPhANOV, XIMED offers a new generation of imaging systems capable of revealing subtle tissue contrasts invisible to conventional mammography. Our Technology, provides ultra-precise characterization of microcalcifications, key early indicators of breast cancer, while significantly reducing unnecessary biopsies and minimizing radiation exposure. Based in the heart of the photonics hub at the Institut d’Optique d’Aquitaine, XIMED leverages the region’s dynamic ecosystem and benefits from strong institutional support, including CRNA and Bpifrance.
