French Federation of Comprehensive Cancer Centres, a network of healthcare centres 100% dedicated to the fight against cancer and a major player in research.

Unicancer is the only French hospital federation 100% dedicated to the fight against cancer. Through its health cooperation group, it brings together 20 private, not-for-profit comprehensive cancer centres, playing a major role in care, research and education. A major player in research, Unicancer is also the leading academic sponsor of oncology clinical trials on a European scale, with a solid worldwide reputation.

    Unicancer acts on a daily basis to advance the fight against cancer, both in France and internationally, thanks to the network of excellence formed by the French comprehensive cancer centres. Given its major role in cancer care and research, Unicancer offers a holistic and coordinated care model, which guarantees quality care pathways accessible to more than 530,000 patients per year. The continuous evaluation and adaptation of practices guarantees the quality and performance of care, with the aim of achieving therapeutic excellence.

    Unicancer’s purchasing and access to innovation policy also enables the centres belonging to its GCS (Groupement de Coopération Sanitaire – health cooperation group) to have rapid access to state-of-the-art equipment and innovative treatments, in an eco-responsible manner.

    Finally, as a major player in research and the first sponsor of academic trials in Europe, Unicancer has established numerous partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and research groups throughout the world, to make progress in understanding tumours, detect them earlier, develop targeted therapeutic strategies and reduce their side effects.
