1st operator of hospital at in home in France
Created in 1958 at the initiative of the National League Against Cancer, the Fondation Santé Service is the first French actor in Hospital at Home (HAD). With over 60 years of expertise, Santé Service treats patients of all ages with acute or chronic pathologies, mainly in oncology, palliative care, complex wounds, rehabilitation, perinatology, and geriatrics.
With more than 1,250 employees (doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, midwives, dieticians, psychologists, social workers, pediatric nurses, occupational therapists, stomatherapists...) and more than 5,000 partner healthcare professionals (general practitioners, healthcare facilities, and independent practitioners), Santé Service provides multidisciplinary and coordinated care to more than 2,000 patients daily in the 8 departments of Île-de-France.
By offering the possibility of receiving hospital care at home under the same conditions of quality and safety as in a hospital, the Fondation Santé Service fulfills both a healthcare mission and a support mission by promoting the patient's ability to remain in their familial and social environment.
The Foundation also manages home nursing care services (SSIAD), specialized Alzheimer's teams (ESA), and a home healthcare provider activity (PSAD). Its status as a leader in HAD has also allowed it to develop complementary activities, such as a training organization operating throughout France, a consulting department to support healthcare facilities and institutions in their home healthcare development strategies, and a research and innovation institute.
