Association l’Aura

Presentation

The Association for the Use of Artificial Kidneys in the Paris Region (L’AURA Paris), founded in 1967 under the initiative of Professor Jean Hamburger and with the support of the Social Security and Public Assistance authorities, now seeks to undertake a statutory transformation to become a Foundation Recognized as Being of Public Utility (FRUP). This evolution is driven by the desire to secure and strengthen our mission in serving individuals with kidney disease in the Île-de-France region, by irrevocably anchoring our actions within a framework of public utility, complementing our official designation by the Ministry of Health as a not-for-profit healthcare institution (ESPIC).
